Request for Quotation – Black Carbon (BC) Add-On Methodology for Clean Cooking Projects (MECS)

Modern Energy Cooking Services (MECS) is inviting proposals for Phase 3 of its Black Carbon (BC) Add-On Methodology initiative, aimed at advancing clean cooking carbon accounting systems. Black carbon is a powerful short-lived climate pollutant with significant near-term warming effects. Building on earlier phases that developed and validated a methodology for quantifying BC and organic carbon (OC) reductions, MECS is now seeking expert consultants to finalize the methodology, support submission to the Gold Standard, develop a BC impact calculator, and promote adoption through targeted outreach. This assignment will contribute to strengthening climate finance frameworks and accelerating clean cooking solutions globally.
