Overview

The International Telecommunication Union (ITU), in partnership with Huawei, is now accepting applications for the Generation Connect Young Leadership Programme (GCYLP) 2026–2027.

This global programme empowers young digital leaders and changemakers who are using technology to drive impact in their communities. Selected fellows will receive funding, mentorship, and global visibility to scale their digital development initiatives aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Eligibility

  • Young people aged 18–28 years
  • Currently working on a digital development or tech-driven project
  • Demonstrated commitment to community impact
  • Ability to communicate in English
  • Willingness to actively participate throughout the programme duration
