Overview

The Africa Climate Collaborative Fellowship at the University of Ghana is now open for applications. This fully funded opportunity, implemented in partnership with the Mastercard Foundation, supports the next generation of African climate scientists, researchers, and leaders.

The fellowship is available at Master’s, PhD, and Postdoctoral levels and focuses on advancing innovative research and sustainable solutions to climate change challenges across Africa. The program prioritizes women, persons with disabilities, and individuals from displaced backgrounds.

This fellowship is ONLY tenable at the University of Ghana and offers a unique platform for interdisciplinary research, leadership development, and global collaboration in climate resilience and sustainability.

Eligibility

  • African citizens aged 18–35 years
  • Applicants must meet admission requirements for University of Ghana programs
  • Open to Master's, PhD, and Postdoctoral candidates
  • Strong interest in climate resilience and sustainability research
  • Applicants from women, displaced backgrounds, and persons with disabilities are highly encouraged
  • Proof of English proficiency (if applicable) required
